Phelps Heating & Cooling was started by Cliff Phelps in 1933, At this time we installed boilers and coal furnaces. In the early 1940's he delivered coal to the surrounding areas as well.

In the early 1950's Jim Phelps, Sr. took over operation of the heating side of the business and specialized in home heating fuel and farm diesel.

In the late 1950's natural gas became available and the company installed miles of gas line and converted burners to operate with natural gas. Up in to the mid 1960's most of our business was heating and then central air conditioning became more prevalent.

Today we are predominantly involved in residential and light commercial sales and service, We also specialize in geothermal installation and service. We Install Lennox central heating and air conditioning equipment and Climate Master for geothermal applications. Phelps Heating & Cooling is standing by ready to handle all your comfort needs.
